This 5-bedroom, 20-year-old, Georgian-style home needed a fresh chapter and KWI was hired to lead the decoration of the entire project, as well as the renovation of the Master Suite. Designed by Judith Larson, a well-established New Canaan based architect, the house had great bones. We have collaborated with “Judy” on prior (and subsequent) projects and love working with her and the team. The direction was to create a house that was equal parts family-friendly, and always ready to entertain. Luckily, both we and the owners are big fans of bold, vibrant colors and a free mix of pattern and styles was quickly hit upon.
A playful but nuanced mix of furnishings and décor using high and low, custom and some off-the-rack, new and antique, works harmoniously to create an energetic flow throughout the home.
It’s a very cheerful home, and one we’re excited to present.
